It is understandable that many people would like to keep their trees under control and a lot of times the wrong tree may be planted in the wrong place. We believe that trees should be kept healthy and when properly maintained should never become a problem. Flowering trees look amazing when in full bloom and can still be shaped and thinned to an extent in which they can still flourish. Many people have these trees and have probably never seen them bloom. It is important to think ahead when pruning, if too much growth is removed at once the tree will produce rapid growth (water shoots) in an attempt to recover. This is usually a sign that the tree has undergone some stress. If you plan ahead you should be able to control the growth of a tree to avoid obstructions such as power lines and eaves, and if you really plan ahead you can fully avoid these potential problems by doing some research when planting a tree.
